It has been a wonderful week. Kai is a great kid. This week Kai learned that he can't throw his toy cars at the window or furniture or his toys will be put away. He has learned to say: Car, Thank You & Oh My God (yes, that would be from his mom). He changes out thank you from English to Chinese. Kai loves butter-not on bread but he will eat the butter plain. Weird but OK for now. We realized that he doesn't care for the french fries. They were just a way to transport the ketchup to his mouth. He told Grace that he likes it because its sweet.
What we learned as parents this week: Absolutley no candy or sodas after lunch. He had a sip of my coke and went crazy for an hour. We also are learning to plan ahead. We forgot to pack tissues and almost paid dearly for it. I packed toilet paper in our backpack since I have heard that in most of the public restooms, toilet paper is rare. We have been nursing a cold since day one but he seems to be gettiing better. We have been trying to stick to the schedule that he is used to. We just love him to pieces.

I am still working on the "planning ahead for outings" skill. We forgot to bring a bottle for Sabrina twice this week and had to make emergency stops to buy new bottles. Robby suggested she wait two more hours before eating, but she was adament she should get to eat when she wants to.
